Haiku- Winter 2023/2024

a lack of sunshine

gradually again replaced

by rain and then snow

another new year,

all that sweet melancholy

is getting so old

hard arctic freeze-

my backdoor

froze shut

leaving the warm bed

unraveled and was perfect

for the winter blues
