I hesitate to engage anything above the level of a

would have to admit that the America I love is hardly
in prevalent view so it must be somewhere hiding around
weeds, fencerows, windowboxes, railsidings, and abandoned
roads: hiding around abandoned roads is a good one:
what would you say differentiates the highminded from
the lowdown good-for-nothings: clearly, its a matter
of altitude: but altitude in terms of what:
perhaps, it is representativeness, including the
principles of synopsis, assimilation, concept.....
